Waarom jezelf aarden zo belangrijk is

Why grounding yourself is so important

Grounding is literally putting yourself firmly back with both feet
on the ground. Getting back to yourself for a moment.

Contact with the ground/earth ensures that we become more aware of our body again, what it needs, and where your boundaries lie.

In our Western society, we are mainly focused on the head, the intellectual, the rational, and we are not at all concerned with what is happening beneath our feet.

Especially highly sensitive people truly benefit from a daily grounding exercise.

For people with stress and burnout, being well-grounded is especially important because it helps them regain their strength.

Grounding ensures that we continue to feel comfortable in our own skin.

By grounding regularly, we create, as it were, a drainage channel that makes letting go (of negative energy, emotions, situations,...) easier.

If you are in a healing period (such as being guided by a coach, psychologist, …) it is important to be well-grounded.

This significantly accelerates the healing process.

Daily grounding is also important when you work with other people often.

If you are in the caring role and the care recipients are in a needy role, then the chance is very high that an imbalance will soon arise. As a caregiver, you literally give away your energy, and the care recipient will sense perfectly well that there is energy to be had from you. Grounding is therefore an important part of your energy management.

Symptoms of being insufficiently grounded:

• Usually this indicates that your Root Chakra (1st Chakra) is out of balance

• Fatigue, dizziness, having a foggy head

• Feeling out of balance, unstable, having no grip on yourself

• Being anxious, insecure, restless, worrying

• Being in your head a lot like a carousel that keeps spinning, daydreaming and fantasizing

• Being unable to put your ideas into practice

• Not taking good care of yourself (poor diet, too little sleep, … )

• Suffering from weight gain (your body forces you to ground) or suffering from constipation (holding on)

• Often feeling cold

• Withdrawing more often and avoiding forming relationships

• Having physical complaints, usually in the area of the chest, neck, shoulders, and head

There are several ways to ground yourself daily:

  • Wearing or carrying grounding gemstones (e.g., Jasper, Hematite, Bloodstone, Petrified Wood). This works best as a bracelet on your wrist or a gemstone on a necklace.
  • Going for a walk in beautiful nature. A tree is the most grounded living being on this planet. Become aware of the trees in the forest by touching them, for example.

  • Gardening, flower arranging, planting flowers, ... In short: anything from the earth that you touch, through which this grounding energy passes through you and you naturally start to ground.

  • By visualizing daily that you are 'grounded' and connected to Mother Earth.
  • Drinking plenty of water and eating food from Mother Earth (fruit and vegetables).
  • This will also raise your natural vibration, making it easier to ground yourself.
  • By meditating.

Especially these days, with everything happening in the world, being well-grounded is not an unnecessary luxury but a Basic Need!

We are in a period of great transformation and spiritual growth, and grounding yourself daily will make this transition so much more comfortable for you.

Try it daily for one week and feel the difference yourself!

Namaste
